What does UNDUGU mean?!

The name Undugu, meaning brotherhood in Swahili, was born from a simple yet powerful idea: family.

Founders Nickson and Michael wanted every guest to feel more than just welcome—they wanted each safari to feel like belonging. Like stepping into family.

At Undugu Safaris, we don’t just guide you through Tanzania. We welcome you into our family, ensuring every safari is a shared experience of connection, discovery, and lasting memories.

Born in Mto wa Mbu village, tourism has always been a part of my life. Since 2004, I’ve had the privilege of being a safari guide in Tanzania, sharing the beauty of this land with guests from all over the world. The East African safari is in my soul—it’s not just a profession, but a calling that fuels my passion to provide unforgettable experiences. Guiding others through Tanzania’s wild landscapes is truly my greatest joy.
